Return Policy
We have a 30-day return policy which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
Return Policy Exceptions
- All LIGHTLEAF solar panels have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.
Non-Returnable/Clearance/Final Sale Items
Certain types of items cannot be returned such as products marked “Used”, “Final Sale”, “Clearance”, "As Is" and custom products such as special orders or personalized items.
Sorry, we are not able to accept returns/exchanges/refund requests for these items for any reason as they are not stocked or are final sale items. No exceptions.

Return Conditions and Costs
To be eligible for a return:
- You must have proof of purchase.
- Item(s) must be in the same condition as when you received it, unused with original tags/labeling and in original packaging.
- The time has not exceeded the product's return window.
Return shipping costs and a 20% restocking fee are the responsibility of the customer, unless you have received the wrong item or it is defective.
If you have received the wrong item the return shipping and restocking charge will be waived and you will be sent a replacement.
If your item is defective the return shipping and restocking charge will be waived and the repair or replacement will be issued according to the manufacturer's warranty.
Request a Return Shipping Label
- To start the returns process, log into your account at https://account.komaxt.ca
- In the Email field, enter your email address, and then click Continue.
- In your email account, open the email sent from our store and copy the six-digit verification code included in the email.
- Go back to the online store, and then enter a six-digit verification code.
- Click the order that you want to submit the return for.
- If your order has more than one item, then select the items that you want to return.
- Select a return reason and add a note for the store.
- Click Request return.
If your return is accepted, we’ll email you a return shipping label as well as instructions on how, when and where to send your return package.
Return Processing Time
After the product is returned and received, you will typically receive a refund in 3-5 days. However, depending on your payment provider it can take up to 10 days. If you have not received a refund after that time, please contact us at returns@komaxt.ca for more information.
Exchanges
Contact us to start an exchange at returns@komaxt.ca.
Return shipping costs and a 20% restocking fee are the responsibility of the customer for item exchanges.
You may choose to wait until you receive your refund before placing the new order or you may place the new order right away.
Canceling an Order Before Shipment
Contact us within the hour if you want to cancel your order and we will try and make sure it does not get shipped out. There is no guarantee we will be able to recall the order if it has already been processed so the sooner you can contact us the better.
Canceling an Order After Shipment
There is no guarantee we will be able to recall the order if it has already been processed. In such case you will have to reject the delivery at your door and will be responsible for paying the return shipping and handling and a 20% restocking fee.
Shipping Damages/Defective/Received Wrong Item
Please inspect your order after receiving it and contact us within 24 hours if the item is damaged, defective or if you received the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. If your order arrives damaged, please take photos to send to us so the return process goes smoothly. Failure to report or note issues will end up in a DENIED return authorization.

Warranty Returns
Some products carry a manufacturer's warranty beyond our 30 day return policy.
Warranty periods are noted on each product page.
If you do encounter an issue during the warranty period, please contact us at returns@komaxt.ca. Depending on the product we may handle your warranty claim and provide you a return authorization or we may forward you to the manufacturer to handle it directly.
Please note that you will be responsible for the return shipping cost of warranty returns. No exceptions.
