Order Confirmation, Processing and Shipping Times

As soon as you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation via e-mail. This means that we have received your order and pre-authorized your credit card for the purchase.

Handling time is same day or next business day, Monday to Friday.

Cutoff for same day delivery is 3:00 PM EST Monday to Friday.

If your item(s) is on backorder or unavailable we will contact you immediately by email or telephone and offer a substitute item if available. If nothing is available or you decline, we will void the pre-authorization and send a confirmation to you.

If your item(s) is available for shipment we will process the charges immediately and submit the order for shipment.

Orders are shipped with Purolator, Canada Post, UPS or FedEx.

Under normal circumstances shipping time is 2 to 5 business days. However, delivery times are subject to change based on courier shipping holdups, delivery appointment availability and warehouse processing times.

We will send you tracking information within the hour of your order leaving the warehouse to the e-mail address you provided when checking out.

If you do not receive tracking information from us within three business days of your order, follow up with us at orders@komaxt.ca

 

Free Shipping Policy and Restrictions

Free delivery is available for the ten provinces of Canada only. The territories of Yukon, Northwest Territories, and Nunavut are not included.

Free shipping will only be applied to one address per order. One delivery attempt is included with free shipping. Free delivery is only available for standard shipments.

The customer will pay a delivery cost that is determined by the courier if the delivery is refused and the customer requests a second or further delivery efforts.

We do not ship to P.O. Boxes

Ferries and flatbed trucks are not included in the cost of free shipment. If applicable, the tailgate surcharge is not included.

Large, heavy, or other items requiring a freight carrier are not eligible for free shipping.

Even though an item is less than oversized and/or requiring freight, there are circumstances when it will not be eligible for free shipment. The dimensional weight of a package, which is determined by multiplying L by W by H by 139, will be used by courier services to determine the weight. This limitation may prevent oversized items from being eligible for free shipment.

We reserve the right to exempt cargo from this policy and/or deny the free shipping service in the highly unlikely case that our couriers charge or quote excessive freight rates for any other reason than what is specified in this policy or if it is deemed that the customer is abusing the free shipping offer in any way.

In all cases, you will be informed prior to the shipment of your item of any additional freight charges that were not incurred at the time of the originating transaction. You then have the option to accept or reject your order as desired.

 

Shipping Damages and Other Issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us within 2 business days if the item is damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

If your order arrives damaged, please take photos to send to us within 2 business days so the return process goes smoothly. Contact returns@komaxt.ca to start the process.

 

Shipping Address Details

Komaxt will not be held liable for any additional charges incurred as a result of inaccurate or incomplete delivery addresses. If an issue with a shipping address is identified we will make every effort to contact you and remedy the situation; but it is ultimately your obligation to provide accurate delivery information.

 

Canceling Order Before Shipment

Contact us immediately if you want to cancel your order and we will try and make sure it does not get shipped out.

There is no guarantee we will be able to recall the order if it has already been processed. In such case you will have to reject the delivery at your door and will be responsible for paying the return shipping and handling and a 20% restocking fee.

 

Undeliverable/Returned Orders

Products returned to us by the courier due to complications such as an 'invalid street address', 'unclaimed', 'return to sender', or 'refused' will receive a refund to the original payment method minus shipping and handling charges and a 20% restocking fee.

 

Shipping Outside of Canada

We currently do not offer shipping outside of Canada.
